New Parliament House

Above: Aerial photo of Parliament House on Capital Hill in Canberra, Australia. The building was completed in 1988 after eight years of construction. The Masonic design of Romaldo Giurgola includes a black granite 'altar' stone in the Members Hall of Parliament (compare with the Supreme Council 33° Degree Temple in Washington D.C.). Built in one of the world's most isolated and secure locations, massive concrete walls encircle Capital Hill with 4 large road ramps required for access.
