‘And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven and goeth into perdition’ Rev 17:11.
This beast is the final world empire, he only reigns a very short while, three and a half years to be exact. Reading the above verse carefully from line 1, ‘the beast that was’ refers to old Rome or the sixth empire and then that empire came to an end. Then all of a sudden he is revived as the eighth empire, ‘even he is the eighth’. He becomes the new Rome, which is the New World Order. He is of the seven, (that’s the seven empires), he is one of the seven, he is the sixth and he is made a little like every empire that has been on earth.
‘The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless bit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not and yet is’ Rev. 17:8.
Here it is again, the beast that was the Roman Empire, then he is finished, but when the fifth angel sounds (Rev. 9) he is revived as the new Roman Order (the United States) crushing, trampling and destroying in war as the old. The fifth angel is nuclear and biological missile warfare as he ascends from the bottomless pit. Then when the Great Tribulation and Armageddon are over he is thrown into hell (Satan is leading this beast).
Now the people who dwell on the earth will wonder about him, but will not understand and will support the beast nation to their destruction, receiving eternal damnation. Before the world was made God wrote your name into the Book of Life if you became a Christian, so Christians recognize the beast, but the wicked do not.
‘And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh he must continue a short space’ Rev 18:9-10.
In verse 9 the seven heads are the seven mountains of Rome where the woman sits (the Whore Babylon Church led by the False Prophet) and symbolizing the seven empires. The seven kings are seven empires and five have been and one is (when the Apostle John was writing this down he says ‘and one is’, the empire he was in was Rome, the sixth empire) and the other one to come for a short space was the British Empire, the seventh [1]. This empire, chosen by God, at its zenith was about three hundred and fifty years, a short reign over the world and one thousand years from the foundation and establishment of kings. The beast that was Old Rome and is not, he becomes the revived Roman Empire again, the eighth. Remembering that Manasseh (America) took the Throne from his brother Ephraim (England) and after World War II established himself for the next forty years.
‘WHO IS LIKE UNTO THE BEAST? WHO IS ABLE TO MAKE WAR WITH HIM?’ Revelation 13:4.
America is an exact type of Rome. Jonathan Freedland in a feature article entitled ‘Hail Bush: A new Roman empire’ [2] gives an insightful appraisal of the resemblance between Rome and Washington. He remarks that the most obvious similarity is overwhelming military strength. Rome was the superpower of its day, boasting an army with the best training, largest budgets and finest equipment. Likewise the United States is equally dominant, being described as a hyper-power with technological and military superiority or as Rev. 13:4 says ‘Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?’
The United States has also done plenty of conquering; its earlier westward expansion, countless wars and U.S. military bases in many countries giving it the same global military presence it would enjoy if it ruled those countries directly. The U.S. bases are the modern equivalent of imperial colonies. During peacetime some 255,000 U.S. troops are deployed abroad, considerably more than any other country. ‘So the U.S. may be more Roman than we realize, with garrisons in every corner of the globe. But there the similarities only begin. For the U.S. approach to empire looks quintessentially Roman. It’s as if the Romans bequeathed a blueprint for how imperial business should be done – and today’s Americans follow it religiously’ says Freedland.
‘BUT IN HIS ESTATE SHALL HE HONOUR THE GOD OF FORCES (MILITARY)…WHOM HE SHALL INCREASE WITH GLORY: AND SHALL CAUSE THEM TO RULE OVER MANY, AND DIVIDE THE LAND FOR GAIN’ Daniel 11:37-39.
Firstly it is not enough to have great military strength: the rest of the world must know that strength – and fear it. Today live news coverage of U.S. operations, including displays of airpower, precision smart bombs, tomahawk cruise missiles fulfill the prophecy ‘and he shall destroy wonderfully’ Daniel 8:24. This military prowess has invariably led to greater glorification of U.S. power and imperialism ‘But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces…’ and ‘Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain’ Daniel 11:37-39.
‘AND HE SHALL DESTROY WONDERFULLY’ Daniel 8:24.
GLOBAL ECONOMIC SUPERPOWER
‘HE SHALL HAVE POWER OVER THE TREASURES OF GOLD AND OF SILVER’ Daniel 11:43.
The U.S. will spend as much in 2004 on defence as the rest of the world put together (191 countries). And it will do so devoting only 4 percent of its GDP. But U.S. dominance is not simply military but economic and cultural. The U.S. economy is as large as the next three – Japan, Germany and Britain combined. With 5 percent of the world’s population, this one country accounts for 43 percent of the world’s economic production, 40 percent of its high-technology production and 50 percent of its research and development. The United States remains the unchallenged pre-eminent economic power in the world; ‘he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver’ Daniel 11:43.
‘AND ALL THE WORLD WONDERED AFTER THE BEAST’ Revelation 13:3.
Another important aspect exposed by Freedland is the power to seduce conquered peoples. ‘As Tacitus observed in Britain, the natives seemed to like togas, baths and central heating’. Today the U.S. offers the world capitalism, Coca Cola, McDonalds and American entertainment whereby ‘all the world wondered after the beast’ Rev.13:3. Materialism was the foremost idolatry of ancient Rome as much as it is of modern New York.
‘AND THROUGH HIS POLICY ALSO HE SHALL CAUSE CRAFT TO PROSPER IN HIS HAND’ Daniel 8:25.
The Roman Empire also ruled by proxy via friendly client states or installed regimes (e.g. Antipas, Herod’s father, was installed procurator of Judea by Julius Caesar). This is a favourite technique of the United States; whether it be Panama, the Shah of Iran or Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan; ‘And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand’ Daniel 8:25. The United States has continued to pursue a policy of allying with dictators (Hussein, Pol Pot) and warlords, instigating unrest and intervening in the domestic affairs of numerous countries. One only has to look at the record of the CIA.
Rome and Washington are similarly ruthless in warfare; Rome sought Carthage’s destruction and the Third Punic War (149-146 BC) resulted from a deliberate act of Roman aggression, Carthage being vengefully razed to the ground and can be compared to the United States’ ruthlessness in Vietnam or the utter destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki or more recently the U.S. unprovoked invasion of Iraq. A key characteristic of Rome foresaw by the Prophet Daniel ‘strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it’ Daniel 7:7.
‘HE SHALL DO ACCORDING TO HIS OWN WILL, AND NONE SHALL STAND BEFORE HIM’ Daniel 11:16.
Additionally in the recent Iraq War (2003) the United States arrogantly disregarded the United Nations (UN), NATO allies, global protests and International Law as Daniel 11:16 says he ‘shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him…’. A Newsweek article entitled ‘The Arrogant Empire’ [3] notes that in the campaign against Iraq ‘America is virtually alone. Never will it have waged a war in such isolation. Never have so many of its allies been so firmly opposed to its policies. Never has it provoked so much public opposition, resentment and mistrust…Many people, both abroad and in America, fear that we are at some kind of turning point, where well established mainstays of global order – the Western Alliance, European unity, the United Nations – seem to be cracking under stress’ p35-36 – fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel that none shall stand before him.
The United States is determined to act as it chooses. George W. Bush has withdrawn from the protocol to combat global warming, rejected the establishment of an international criminal court, scrapped the ABM Treaty with Russia, abandoned talks on inspection rules for biological weapons and failed to support the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty.
Freedland concludes ‘Anti-Americans like to believe that an operation in Iraq might be proof that the U.S. is succumbing to the temptation that ate away at Rome: overstretch. But its just as possible that the U.S. is merely moving into what was the second phase of Rome’s imperial history, when it grew frustrated with indirect rule through allies and decided to do the job itself. Which is it? Is the U.S. at the end of its imperial journey, or on the brink of its most ambitious voyage? Only the historians of the future can tell us that’. The Scriptures tell us of a final global empire lead by the Antichrist with a final likeness of Old Rome to come, persecution of Christians (Daniel 12:10).
Many buildings and architecture are also taken from the Roman Empire; the Lincoln Memorial is an example of Greek architecture with its thirty-six Doric columns that houses a huge statue to glorify Abraham Lincoln (another high degree Mason), and Jefferson’s Memorial built as a Roman Pantheon and of course the White House, Supreme Court building and Capitol Building.
Washington Capitol Hill and Canberra Capital Hill are nearly identical in layout. Washington Capitol Hill was a planned by a Frenchman named Pierre L’Enfant, who was an Illuminist. Walter Burley Griffin, also an Illuminist (from a Chicago architectural firm), designed Canberra Capital Hill. Griffin’s design conveniently won the 1912 international competition. So you have to ask yourself, how did two men over one hundred years apart come to the same design, Washington the Master Plan and Canberra, Washington’s Seal and Image? Talk about Masonic forward planning, nothing just happens, it is all by plan and design.
The Washington Capitol Building has a large dome on top and is architecturally exactly the same as the dome on top of St. Peters Basilica Vatican City, Rome. These two large domes or bowls (in Solomon’s Temple I Kings and II Kings), look like eyes looking at the world which they really are, one for the spiritual world and the other for the political and military world. In architecture, capital means the top part or head or chief temple, so that confirms these two Capital Hills. I would even go further and say these two columns would be the two main pillars of Solomon’s Temple Jachin and Boaz, one for strength and one for establishment. I Kings 7 provides a description of the building of Solomon’s Temple.
So Rome, Washington D.C. and Canberra are three great lights to the world or two eyes and a mouth of the goat in the inverted triangle, Canberra the mouth in Revelation 13 that speaks. Several symbols have been integrated into the design of Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory (A.C.T.), including the goat, dragon and serpent.
The Pentagon also forms a goat’s head or five-pointed star. Another bit of trivia is that the small five-pointed star on the Australian flag represents Canberra; the larger seven pointed stars are for the other states. So Canberra and Washington have been linked for a very long time, a secret alliance. As I mentioned before, America and France are related so they also have a very close link. Paris was once the seat of Julius Caesar and a lot of the thirteenth tribe (or Satan’s synagogue) came into France or Gaul and then traveled to the British Isles.
Modern France is saturated with Masonic or enlightenment symbols. There is the Eiffel Tower designed by Alexandre Eiffel (who also constructed the frame work of the Statue of Liberty), the light of the world. The Big Arch, one of Mitterrand’s grand projects, Napoleon’s Arc de Triompe, numerous obelisks, especially the large Egyptian obelisk from Luxor, covered in hieroglyphs and placed in Paris. And of course the new addition to the Masonic family, a great big glass pyramid. Reflecting the sunlight in the Monarch Square, placed where once the monarchs of France reigned, completed for the 1989 two hundred years anniversary of the French Revolution. Why would anyone would to celebrate a blood curdling event like the Reign of Terror, is beyond human reasoning.
Old Rome was a republic for two hundred years and then it became an empire and likewise America was a republic for two hundred years and is now the eighth final empire (the New World Order or revived Roman Empire). Now Daniel 7:17-27 tells of this coming beast.
‘Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon the earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces’ Daniel 7:23.
This kingdom or empire was Rome.
‘And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them… and he shall subdue three kings’ Daniel 7:24.
Here we have the ten horns out of Rome that are ten nations ensuing from the collapse of the old Roman Empire and now comprising modern Europe and the one who rises after them is America because he is a younger nation than the other ten (a little horn) but still derived from England (a former Roman province) and the one who subdued three kings, during the foremost world war in history. The three kings mentioned in a previous chapter were Germany, Japan and Italy or the Axis Powers.
Daniel describes a ‘Little Horn’ (Daniel 7:24) emerging AFTER the ten horns. The term ‘little’ here corresponds to age – e.g. the smaller horns of a young bull or younger nation. The United States or Little Horn (Daniel 7:8) soon grows to become ‘more stout’ (stronger) than the other 10 – to become a global superpower. Upon a catastrophic terrorist attack the 10 kings (10 NATO European allies geographically from the Old Roman Empire) will ‘give their power and strength unto the beast’ (US) for one hour Revelation 17:13.
Three European nations were also uprooted during the foundation and expansion of the United States – England, France and Spain (Daniel 7:8). The period of exploration and colonization of North America was dominated by 3 colonial powers. The Spanish were the first to be successful in the establishment of colonies in America in the early 1500s. France became established in Quebec and Nova Scotia while spreading southward to the Great Lakes, Louisiana and the Mississippi whilst the British were establishing themselves in the northeastern coast of the present-day United States as early as 1497.
Independence was granted to the Thirteen Colonies in 1783 following the American Revolution and the Oregon Territory was ceded by Treaty in 1846 by England. The Louisiana Purchase from France in 1803 virtually doubled the size of the United States. Diplomatic conflicts with England, France and Spain eventually led to the War of 1812. Until 1812 the United States was on the brink of war – with France over the XYZ Affair, with Spain over the right of deposit on the Mississippi River and with England over the rights of American traders on the high seas. Florida was purchased from Spain in 1819 and Spain gave up all claims to the Oregon Territory. In 1845 Texas joined the Union after a long struggle with former Spanish Mexico. This action led to a war with Mexico that ended with the Treat of Guadalupe Hidalgo, in which Mexico ceded California and the southwestern states to the United States in 1848. The United States went to war against Spain in 1898 securing Cuban independence and the acquisitions of Puerto Rico and the Philippines. Thus 3 of the 10 horns were uprooted from North America by means of forced acquisition or purchase fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel 7:8:
‘I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another little horn (the United States), before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: (England, France and Spain) and behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man (Antichrist – the man), and a mouth speaking great things’ Daniel 7:8.
Then the United States subdued the 3 AXIS Powers during WWII – Germany, Italy and Japan – to become a global superpower and revived Roman Empire (Daniel 7:23-24) to be led by the Antichrist.
He becomes the saviour of the world and from then on the whole world has wondered after the beast and Satan gave him his great power and he grew and grew.
‘And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time’ (three and a half years) Daniel 7:25.
Well, great boastful arrogant words roll out of America’s mouth all the time and he has changed world times and international laws. And next on the agenda are the Christian saints who will write their faith in their blood. Daniel 8 includes a good description of America in the vision of the end.
PAX AMERICANA
‘AND BY PEACE SHALL DESTROY MANY’ Daniel 8:24-26.
‘And his powers shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of Princes; but he shall be broken without hand. And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days’ Daniel 8:24-26.
In these verses America will be mighty ‘but not by his own power’, as Satan will help him and he will destroy successfully in war and other means by craft and deceit. He will destroy the saints around the world in the Great Tribulation and he will always be blowing his trumpet about peace, but will do the opposite, war (Pax Americana: ‘by peace shall destroy many’). A good example was the Gulf War 1991 where for six months he had been doing everything for peace, but the bible warns us with peace he shall destroy wonderfully.
Since the Iran-Iraq War and the ceasefire of August 20th 1988, there has been a noticeable increase in nations around the world all coming to peace treaties and peace negotiations, especially between East and West, which after forty years the Cold War came to an end, all within eighteen months. The gates and barriers came down (literally in Berlin in 1989), exactly as God said they would in Ezekiel 38. Now this is very significant to prophecy, because, when General Allenby of the British forces (of the House of Ephraim and Joseph) under the British Empire, captured Jerusalem in November 1917, it ended 600 years of Turkish rule. His last victorious battle was at Megiddo in 1918, exactly where the final Armageddon battle will be – talk about history repeating itself!
Referring to Ezekiel 4:6, from 1918 to 1988 we have seventy years, God has given the House of Israel and in 1917 the Lord Balfour Declaration was drawn up for the State of Israel. Then in 1948 Israel was a nation regathered from Jews around the world, especially those fleeing the turmoil in Europe during World War II and after (Ezekiel 38). Now the scripture text in Ezekiel 4 states God has given Judah (back in the land of Israel) forty years, or one year for every 40 days, that time was up in 1988 and so was seventy years for the House of Israel.
There is a bit of a twist here with Judah, many peoples with the lineage of Judah and House of Israel are peoples who live in the Eastern Bloc countries (Poland etc.) or for forty two years since 1948 behind the gates and barriers of the iron curtain or division of east and west under communism. The mystery here is, it is the same forty years for both sides of the barriers, but took two years from the Iran-Iraq ceasefire in 1988 to complete the dismantling of east and west to fulfill the prophecy of when they say peace and safety.
It should be noted that the first time a historical treaty or agreement called ‘peace and safety’ was signed by thirty-four heads of nations in Paris was on the 20th November 1990. This is a great sign prior to the Great Tribulation; there could be one more sign of agreement of peace in the Middle East between Arab, Jews and America [4].

World movements and organizations have been screaming peace loudly since the UN declared the Year of Peace in 1986.
‘For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do’ I Thessalonians 5:3-11.
Do not be fooled, there will be no peace, only destruction. Any peace will be short lived.
‘But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness’ II Peter 3:10-13.
‘But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be’ Matthew 24: 37-39.
Jesus Christ is Noah’s ark today, the Saviour in a perishing world. Also in Matthew 24:
‘And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come’ Matthew 24:14.
Signs also in the sun, moon and the stars (all planets):
‘And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring’ Luke 21:25.
What a prophecy of the last days!! There have been numerous sun, moon and star signs over the years and there will be many more appearing to confirm God’s Word. Some incredible star changes happened in 1986 with Halley’s comet. If you remember at the time of Halley’s comet there was great excitement around the world. Astronomers and scientists were all packing their bags and heading for Australia, to catch a clear sighting of Halley from the Observatory Station at Coonabarabran.
Now Halley’s comet wasn’t the night spectacle expected, but the most astonishing event was a star grouping, or pattern in the southern hemisphere that was taking place. The star pattern was a capstone or triangle in the sky, the three star groupings that made up this triangle were: Aquila (the eagle), Sagittarius (half man on half horse) with the bow and arrow and Capricorn (the goat). This was the capstone of America led by the Antichrist and Satan. What is amazing is this star pattern is not found in the southern hemisphere at that time of year in April, then to complete the picture Halley’s comet passed straight through the centre of the triangle where the eye is (the All Seeing Eye in the triangle of Freemasonry). To the ancient Masonic priesthood this was their sign that the New World Order plan was set in motion but was God’s confirmation to Christians that the Antichrist was in place. Praise God!
Now prior to this there were several new comet sightings, one in May and one in June 1983 and also another confirmation with the alignment of the planets. In 1979 the ninth planet Pluto crossed over the orbit of Neptune the eighth planet, making Neptune (the water planet new birth) now in the ninth final position, which represents the final eighth empire on earth. Pluto will not return to its orbit until 1992.
Then the next amazing star pattern appeared in the night sky of February 1989. This was a great big capstone or pyramid and at the top a capstone was the fully laid out Seal of Washington D.C. and Canberra Parliament Circle of Capital Hill, inside the circle was the Cunircrux, to the left of the drawing, off the second large circle the two cockatoos (meaning where they sit the Parliament House). Then the whole finished star pattern was a big eye, with the Milky Way straight through the middle. At the same time of these star groupings there was an eclipse of the moon. Now this sign meant the whole seat of the New World order was now complete, the stone rested on the 201st course of Masonry. This course of Masonry was exactly from the first settlement of Sydney Australia by Governor Arthur Phillip in 1788 until the opening of the parliament in 1988, two hundred plus one year later the 201st year ‘the stone’ was rested, in 1989. Also meaning the eclipse of the mother moon who was now pregnant and resting and awaiting the new birth (New World Order).
All confirmation by God for Christians to see and of course the Masonic priesthood also knew what the signs would be, from the ancient writings of Egypt and Babylon, by the Magi and Mystics. After all Freemasonry is the following and interpreting the stars and zodiac signs with numerical calculations. In 1990 the vibrations or contractions if you like started. April the 25th saw the 75th anniversary of Gallipoli, at that ceremony it was said we would not be in another war. The week before this, I wrote to the local paper in Albury and stated that the world was sitting in a delusion of peace and safety and that shortly God’s grace and mercy would be withdrawn from an unrepentant world, meaning that His judgment would soon begin.
Now a very strange sign of the sun occurred on the 27th and 28th April 1990. I always rise out of bed anywhere between 5 and 6.30 am each day and have a read of the bible to start each day. The house I live in is very high on a hill, with a very wide view of the skyline. The large kitchen window faces the east where the sun comes up, so I never miss seeing the sun because I usually have to pull down the blind by about 7.00 am. However, on the morning of the 27th and 28th when I came out to the kitchen at 6.30 am the sun was not there, I thought that was odd, as the sky was very bright, so I went around to the lounge room and low and behold, here was the sun set in the sky where it would normally be at 10.30 or 11.00 am. I didn’t read much into this event at first, but when it was the second day, my spirit was getting stirred up.
I could not wait to get up and see where the sun would be the following days and once again it was rising as normal, coming through the kitchen window about 6.30 am the same place as before the two days (all the papers stated sunrise at 6.27 am after the two days of confirmation of the sun high in the sky). I knew that shortly a great event would take place, I told my family and Christian friends, who saw nothing, but then again they were not up early. A couple of months ago, I heard a talk back on Radio where a scientist mentioned the earth had moved by one degree, so this would tie in, but it was certainly one of the major signs of the sun, from God.
Once again, the Illuminist priesthood also knew the sign. On the Monday morning of the 29th I said to my family and friends there is going to be a great sign or event of confirmation on the earth. My husband brought home the morning paper and there it was, the confirmation from God, the papers all had a picture of the Washington Monument, the great phallus representing the sun, with a huge balloon with the baby foetus inside. Meaning the balloon represented the mother moon about to give birth to the star Horus (Antichrist) head of the New World Order (or birth of the New World Order).
I then knew that shortly the peace and safety would be broken and there would be war in the Middle East. I told people that shortly America would go to the Persian Gulf, where the prophecy of Daniel says he goes to get a foothold in the Middle East region and Saddam Hussein was the reason.
A couple of months past, then all of a sudden, war was on. Saddam Hussein moved into Kuwait and set the prophecy in motion on the 2nd August 1990. Now on the 6th August 1990 there was an unusual eclipse of the moon with the star grouping Aquarius (or better known the Water Bearer), so the interpretation of this sign was very prominent, meaning the water had broken of the mother moon and was time for the birth to begin. Shortly after the invasion of Kuwait, George Bush announced that Saddam Hussein was trying to spoil the end of the Cold War in Europe and the new era of peace and security and putting at risk the emergence of the New World Order. This announcement put the New World Order as top priority and in the front headlines for the first time, grabbing world attention and recognition.
On the 16th January 1991, before America and the UN coalition forces began bombing Iraq, there were more signs in the sky. It came over the radio in Albury that a rare phenomenon was in the sky, many people went outside to see, there was a very clear bright blue sky, not a cloud to be seen, but a full rainbow appeared around the sun. Christians recognized it as a sign of importance. At that time there was a report that the planet Mars (which was worshipped in the Roman Empire as the God of War) was now situated above Kuwait, coincidence you might say, no, the act and design of God!!
WORLD WAR III: THE WAR OF TERROR
‘…LOOSE THE FOUR ANGELS WHICH ARE BOUND IN THE GREAT RIVER EUPHRATES… TO SLAY THE THIRD PART OF MEN’ Revelation 9:14-15.
Again during the Iraq War in 2003 Mars was at its closest to the Earth in recorded history (closest distance reached in August 2003). The Iran-Iraq War and Gulf Wars (1991 & 2003) are the birth pangs of World War III. A dreadful global war that arises out of conflict in the Middle East and culminates at Armageddon:
‘Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates (i.e. WWIII erupts from the Persian Gulf in the Mid-East). And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men’ Rev. 9:14-15.
At the time of the end the Islamic nations come against the United States (Antichrist), or ‘push at him’ (Daniel 11:40 and Ezekiel 38). Islam has come to define the terms of the end time conflicts in the Mid-East; the Arab-Israeli Wars (1948, 1969 & 1973), global terrorism, the 1973 Energy Crisis, 1979 Iranian Revolution and U.S. Hostage Crisis, 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq War necessitating the deployment of U.S. warships by President Reagan to the Persian Gulf to protect Kuwaiti oil tankers, U.S. air-strikes against Libya, 1990 invasion of Kuwait by Iraq, Gulf War 1991 and finally the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington D.C. leading to a U.S. led ‘War on Terror’ with invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.
The United States becomes the conqueror. The focus of this conflict becomes the ‘glorious land’ (Israel) and more specifically Jerusalem (see Ezekiel 38 and Zechariah, Daniel 11-12). The United States continues to have a vigorous interest to bring peace (false peace) to the Holy Land and the region. However, Islam is the religion of those states (Iran, Syria, Libya, Saudi Arabia & Egypt) that confront Israel and oppose the aspiration of the Jewish people for a Mid-East homeland. For the Muslim, the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem is surpassed in holiness only by Mecca and Medina. Jerusalem had been a Muslim city for a thousand years when it was captured by the British in 1917 and reoccupied by the Jews in 1967 becoming Israel’s Eternal Capital. The one unifying aim of Islam is to reverse this situation. Jerusalem remains the point of contention in the Mid-East Crisis:
‘AND IN THAT DAY WILL I MAKE JERUSALEM A BURDENSOME STONE FOR ALL PEOPLE: ALL THAT BURDEN THEMSELVES WITH IT SHALL BE CUT TO PIECES, THOUGH ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH BE GATHERED AGAINST IT’ Zechariah 12:3.

Importantly Islam is also the faith of those who control the world’s oil wealth. Whoever controls the oil has a grip on the prosperity of the industrialized West and U.S. global hegemony.
US WILL STAND IN THE HOLY LAND
‘HE SHALL ENTER ALSO INTO THE GLORIOUS LAND’ Daniel 11:41
‘AND ARMS SHALL STAND ON HIS PART…AND THEY SHALL PLACE THE ABOMINATION THAT MAKETH DESOLATE’ (NUCLEAR WEAPONS) Daniel 11:31.
Altogether these facts suggest a north-south conflict between the United States (allied with ten European nations) and the Islamic nations to their south. The Antichrist confronts these nations to secure strategic reserves of oil, retaliate against terrorism and gain a foothold in the Holy Land, Israel. Inevitably Russia will be drawn into the conflict, joining a coalition of Islamic nations that invade Israel. The United States led by the Antichrist and supported by the ten nations will enter and take control of Israel, setting up the Abomination of Desolation (nuclear warheads) as Jerusalem is compassed with armies. Speaking of Russia God says ‘And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth (to ISRAEL), and all thine army…Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (Sudan), and Libya with them…Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah (Turkey) of the north quarters’ Ezekiel 38:4-6.
During World War II America was the protector of the Middle East (Daniel 11): he comes up as the Saviour of the world, then at the time of the end he returns to the Middle East as the invader (Iraq 2003), he plants himself in this region to take control of Israel, to bring about the destruction of the Arabs and Russia. Russia and the Muslims are defeated and then the armies of the eastern kings (China) and remnants of the Russian army come to seize power from the Antichrist at Armageddon, where America and all the armies are destroyed with the judgment of God and the Second Coming of Christ ‘And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon’ Rev. 16:16.
There have been numerous signs in the sun, moon and stars from God (Luke 21:25). This is not astrology, this is real observation of signs and events to happen and come to pass upon the earth. And just like two thousand years ago when the three wise men from the east followed a large star in the sky to the birth place of Jesus Christ, the Saviour, they were reading the Jewish scriptures and observing the signs of the time and knew this was the promised messiah. The hierarchy of the Jews and the people around were not watching for the prophecy signs that had been given in the Old Testament.
It is the same scenario today, only a remnant are doing what Jesus Christ commanded them to do in Matthew 24 and that is to read about and watch all these things come to pass. Praise the Lord!!! For this generation will live to see it all.
We should now be preparing ourselves for the worst to come, the final three and a half years [5] of all the prophecies to be fulfilled of the Great Tribulation, never before and never again!! ‘The Martyrs of Revelation’, soon the marking of the people worldwide will begin. Refuse this mark at all costs and seal your name written in the Book of Life since the foundation of the world. Have courage and conviction and take your strength in the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, don’t give your soul to Satan.
